SIMT is located in Stuttgart, one of the most economically dynamic regions of Germany. The greater Stuttgart area, in the heart of the State of Baden-Württemberg, has approximately 2.5 million inhabitants. Baden-Württemberg spends 3.8% of its GNP for research and technological development in comparison to Japan with 3% and the United States with 2.8%. SIMT represents the new educational paradigm in which future international decision makers receive an advanced management education and training while maintaining close contact to industry.
SIMT is located in a new, state-of-the-art facility in the immediate vicinity of of the University of Hohenheim. The University of Hohenheim has an impressive campus, unique among German universities, which is built around a former palace of the Kings of Württemberg. Hohenheim has excellent library, research and recreational facilities which SIMT students can readily access. Hohenheim is served by the public transportation system of the city of Stuttgart and is also close to Stuttgart's international airport.
