Turning Good Managers Into Great Leaders

To be able to remain calm and decisive in demanding situations, while keeping a focused vision through inspirational motivation; more than ever these skills are required to be a successful leader.

No longer is in-depth knowledge the only requirement for management positions; social competencies are increasingly becoming essential to such a role. The Leadership Excellence Program addresses experienced managers, who have to keep their department and teams on the right strategic track.

The Leadership Excellence Program (LEP) is an effective way to turn managers into strategy orientated and socially competent leaders.

The program runs for six days over approximately 12 months.

Leadership competencies are encouraged through the approved combination of

  • Action-learning-elements
  • Training modules
  • Reflection/peer coaching
  • Individual feedback loop

 

Content

The 360°-feedback, Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) and Cultural Orientation Indicator (COI®) build the basis for defining the individual development plans in the first workshop. In the following 12 months the participants put their personal leadership vision into action getting support from other participants and the coach. For the duration of the program, telephone conferences secure the exchange of views amongst participants, which at the same time improves their skills in "virtual teamwork". At the end of the Leadership Excellence Program the participants reflect on their development. The second 360°-feedback provides them all a feedback value of their changed leadership style.
